Fluid Mechanical Approximation to the Degenerated Drift-Diffusion System from Compressible Navier-Stokes-Poisson system

Abstract
We consider the zero relaxation time approximation to the compressible Navier-Stokes Poisson system to derive the mono-polar drift-diffusion system of degenerated type and self-interaction equation of the degenerated type. To construct the approximation solution, we introduce a damped viscous compressible Navier-Stokes equation and as the relaxation time $goes to zero, the solution converges those of the degenerated elliptic parabolic systems.The entropy functional is rigorously derived from the approximation system. Self-similar scaled system is also considered and the analogous weak convergence as well as the rigorous treatment to derive the entropy
