Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Mitochondrial dysfunction is a hallmark of Parkinson's disease. In this study, we showed mitochondrial dysfunction caused by loss of CHCHD2. We also revealed comprehensive metabolic disturbances including mitochondrial dysfunction in a cellular model of Parkinson’s disease. Further, we investigated the anti-amyloid effect of ethylammonium salts in vitro.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
