Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed refractive materials via photo-initiated radical copolymerization and ene-thiol reaction of zinc allyldithiocarbamate monomers. Radical polymerization gave hard and transparent film with good refractive indices potentially applicable with optical hard coating. The refractive indices increased as the content of the hybrid monomers. Ene-thiol reaction of the hybrid monomer with a tetrathiol gave flexible and transparent films with good refractive indices potentially applicable as optical adhesives.
